Treat MGD on the go! A self-heating portable eye mask that can be conveniently transported anywhere. The EyeGiene® Insta-Warmth System™ is designed to stimulate your body’s natural tear oil flow through a proven combination of gentle warmth and soothing eye mask.

The EyeGiene® Eye Mask can be washed by hand with warm soapy water or in the washing machine on the Gentle or Delicates cycle. It may last up to 6 months depending on the frequency of washings. You may wish to wash your Eye Mask daily, weekly, or monthly depending on the severity of your condition.

  • Remove the Warming Wafers from their sealed foil package and place in the EyeGiene Eye Mask.
  • Apply for 10 minutes on closed eyes, or as prescribed by your eye doctor.

The tear film includes a lipid layer on the surface of your tears. This film prevents tears from evaporating immediately from the surface of the eye. Without the lipid layer, tears do not have adequate time to protect the eye before evaporating, and vision becomes blurry.

By warming the meibomian glands and increasing the flow of meibum (the oils responsible for the lipid layer), the EyeGiene® Insta-Warmth System™ restores and stabilizes the natural tear film, allowing tears to work more effectively and relieve symptoms. The EyeGiene® Insta-Warmth System™ medical device includes precision warming technology to ensure the warming treatment is applied in the perfect position and at the ideal temperature, for the right length of time. A: The wafers activate automatically when removed from their sealed foil package and placed into the EyeGiene® Eye Mask. The entire system is completely portable, and can be used anywhere; no boiling or microwave required. The EyeGiene® system safely and conveniently delivers the right temperature for the right amount of time.
